Shoutine's story is perfect for kids who love to be loud
Welcome Shoutine to the Goop group! She’s a jubilant Goop girl who is always spreading cheer. The only time the other Goops don’t like to be around her is when she’s carrying her bullhorn because she can be quite vexing when she goes around shouting!
One gray day, Shoutine and her friend Urapyg go to the library. There, Shoutine spins a globe, but her dress gets caught and she gets yanked right into the spinning ball and lands in Ha Long Bay in Vietnam! She finds herself on a small island, where she meets a hornbill named Avi. Avi tells her that the island is home to endangered golden-headed langurs. They don’t trust anyone, especially Shoutine, so she’ll need to earn their trust by finding a black pearl in Ha Long Bay. And, she’ll need to do this without getting caught by pirates!
Shoutine isn’t very good at resisting the urge to shout, but she’ll have to if she doesn’t want to end up in the hands of the pirates. Will she be able to use her shouts only when it really counts?
Shoutine’s quest in Ha Long Bay will help little ones understand the importance of self-control. Shoutine will need to learn to control her desire to make noise if she wants to complete her mission. Will she be able to do it? Head over to the wondrous Ha Long Bay to find out!
